Signing of the E5P Grant Agreement for Yerevan Energy Efficiency

The E5P Grant Agreement to support the EIB’s Energy Efficiency program for Yerevan was signed on 8 June in one of the kindergartens which is going to be refurbished.  In total close to 150 kindergartens across Yerevan will benefit from increased energy efficiency and seismic measures. The E5P grant of EUR 5 million will support the EIB loan of EUR 7 million provided to the Municipality of Yerevan.

The signing ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Yerevan, Mr Taron Margaryan, Swedish Ambassador to Armenia and Georgia, Ms Martina Quick, and representatives of the E5P contributors from the European Union, Czech Republic and other partners.
